How to get to San Martino di Castrozza and the Pale di San Martino?

San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle or Val Canali, getting here is easier than you can imagine:

A13 (BOLOGNA-PADOVA) HIGHWAY, EXIT PADOVA SUD OR PADOVA OVEST

  • SS47 Valsugana (toward Bassano/Trento) way to Cismon del Grappa
  • SS50bis (toward Feltre/Belluno) way to Arten
  • SS50 toward Primiero, San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle

Note: about 130 km from Padova to San Martino di Castrozza.

A4 (TORINO-TRIESTE) HIGHWAY UNTIL VICENZA + A31 (VICENZA-VALDASTICO) EXIT DUEVILLE

  • SS47 Valsugana (toward Bassano/Trento) way to Cismon del Grappa
  • SS50bis (toward Feltre/Belluno) way to Arten
  • SS50 to Primiero, San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle

Note: about 100 km from Dueville to San Martino di Castrozza.

A22 (MODENA-VERONA-BRENNERO) HIGHWAY EXIT TRENTO SUD OR TRENTO NORD

  • SS47 Valsugana (toward Bassano/Padova) way to Cismon del Grappa
  • SS50bis (toward Feltre/Belluno) way to Arten
  • SS50 to Primiero, San Martino di Castrozza an Passo Rolle

Note: about 110 km from Trento to San Martino di Castrozza; most of the route from Trento to Cismon del Grappa of the Valsugana State highway nr. 47 is a ‘fluid-traffic’ expressway.

A22 (MODENA-VERONA-BRENNERO) HIGHWAY EXIT EGNA-ORA (BZ)

  • SS48 (toward Val di Fiemme – Val di Fassa) way to Predazzo
  • SS50 to Passo Rolle, San Martino di Castrozza and Primiero (pay attention at this signage order)

Note: about 70 km from Ora to San Martino; because of the snow conditions on the Rolle Pass (2000m) for long periods during the year, snow chains on board are highly recommended. In case of very bad weather we suggest to plan an alternative route to get to San Martino di Castrozza.
